I saw the best birds of my generation destroyed by watercolor, stark blue
and hysterically red...

Maybe that's not how the poems goes... (I may have too much free time here in Greece, soon time to head back home).

No cars on the island.

The island of Hydra in Greece is a special place in many ways, an important one is that a large percentage of personal transport and transportation of goods is done by mule and donkey. There are no cars on the island. We are proud of our mule and donkey culture.
